The Encounter Restaurant

The Encounter Restaurant is one of the most recognizable landmarks at LAX. Walt Disney Imagineering revamped the interior of the restaurant, making it look like the Jetson’s exterior. But, this exciting restaurant is not just for travelers anymore. There is plenty of LAX parking near the restaurant for both travelers and restaurant-goers.
The location of the Encounter Restaurant brings an unusual combination of people. Any attire is acceptable in this restaurant with multi-colored patterns on the carpet, lava lights, and moon-cratered walls. At the bar, there are guns that emit laser lights with sound effects when bartenders pour a drink. It is truly unlike any other restaurant. It is worth a trip to LAX and parking there just to see it.

California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen is a unique pizza restaurant that serves heath-based pizzas with unique flavors from around the world. Some of their unique pizzas include Thai and Jamaican Jerk, all made-to-order as you like them. Not only do they offer pizza, they have a nice selection of pastas, salads, and desserts that will suit any travelers tastes! If you would like to visit California Pizza Kitchen, parking is available in the LAX parking lot for a small fee.

Chili’s

Chili’s is a large chain restaurant that offers Mexican and Latin American food. Their signature items include Baby Back ribs, fajitas, burgers, the Awesome Blossom onion, and of course, margaritas. This is a great place to dine with your family when you are passing through LAX.

Hamada Orient Express

Located in the international terminal, this restaurant offers Japanese classics, although it can be a little pricy due to its location. It is located in the food court on the second floor in the food court overlooking the ticket area. Hamada accepts credit cards, and there is also an ATM just around the corner.

Fast Food

Of course, if you are traveling and are in a hurry to grab something to eat, there are a number of fast food establishments that you can pick up a bite t eat from. They include Burger King and McDonalds, as well as Starbucks and Wolf Gang Pucks.

Parking

LAX parking can be frustrating at times, but there is valet parking available for $6 at the entrance or there is a LAX parking lot just a short walk away. Patrons who are only visiting restaurants are not required to pass through airport screening to enter – it is located outside the security area. Travelers may keep their luggage with them at their table.
